Team Kellogg’s™ U.S. Olympic Athletes at 2014 Olympic Winter Games

Following a rigorous season of trials and qualification events, six of the competing Team Kellogg’s™ U.S. Olympic athletes have demonstrated from great starts come great things by being named to Team USA™. With the Opening Ceremony for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games starting today Feb. 7, these U.S. Olympic athletes have earned the chance to be among those proudly representing their country. From now through the Games, fans can view the Team Kellogg’s athletes’ inspirational beginnings through a series of Start Story videos, which follow their journeys to the Sochi Games.

Making Several Papadums Without Oil Using Papadum Express

We love eating papadum, but don't make it often enough because of the hassle of frying it. Recently, I got to know about the wonderful papadum stacking utility that we can place in the microwave and make several papadums in a minute. Using the Papadum Express allows us to make papadums fast in the microwave without the need for oil. 

Easy to Make, No Bake Date Pastries

1/4 cup ghee or clarified butter
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cardamom ground
3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cups chopped pitted dates like Medjool

In a small saucepan melt the ghee and add the nutmeg and cardamom and leave aside. Place the flour in a heavy bottom pan and heat it in medium heat until it has toasted and has become lightly brown, stir continuously to avoid it from getting burned.

This delicious recipe for Sweet Potato doughnuts or kueh keria is from a blogging friends's site that I had bookmarked for a while and glad I got a chance to try it. The following recipe will make about 8 so I doubled the following amounts to make about 16 doughnuts.

1 2/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup vegetable oil

2 to 3 slices of bread cut into cubes

1/4 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon
maple syrup or treacle to serve
