1/2 cup to 3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tbsp garlic
1/2 tbsp ginger

  17. Wish I could make this chutney but fresh mangoes around here are tasteless. I have several cans of sliced mango but their texture is akin to canned peaches. Sigh.

  22. I can’t believe you’ve made these with an unripe mango. The unripe mangos I know are rather light green and don’t have this beautiful orange/yellow color. How did you do it?

  23. This is a delicious chutney the colour has changed from a pale green to this colour because of the sugar and cooking it with chillie powder and vinegar.
Thank you everyone for the comments
