2 tablespoons raw sugar
2 cups plain flour
½ teaspoon salt
4 oz. softened butter
Vanilla extract to taste
1 large egg

Add warm milk and mix a little more to incorporate. Add activated yeast mixture and mix until dough does not stick to the sides of the bowl. Cover with a clean cloth and rest for 10 minutes. Add pearl sugar and gently knead through until evenly distributed.

Let the dough rest for 1 hour and then cut into 80g balls.
