Roti filled with curry


This is curry roti filled with fish filling it is an easy snack could even be a meal.

for the roti
3 cups all purpose flour
1 to 2 tbsp margarine optional
1 tsp salt
water to knead the dough
oil to soak the rotis

Knead the flour with margarine and salt using water to make the dough. Divide the dough into small balls and soak it in the oil for a few hours.
Roll the soaked dough thin. Then put the filling close it into any preferred shape. Put it in a hot griddle or fry in a pan in medium heat with some oil.
Cook the roti by turning all the sides to make sure it is cooked and is golden brown.

    for this roti you can use half the amount to make a few, if there are leftovers you can store them in the freezer for a week or so or in the fridge to use within 2 to 3 days
    do try this family recipe

  6. I can’t believe how easy it is to make roti from scratch! I’ve seen versions with some kind of beans in the dough as well. Maybe you know what I mean.
    Curry for me is just comfort food. The spices and all makes it wonderful.
