We can enjoy the Date and Chia Morning Rounds by putting it in the toaster and spreading any type of butter we like or make French toast with it. My family enjoyed the taste even more when I made French Toast with it.
3 Date and Chia Morning Rounds
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp butter
Maple syrup to serve
Beat the egg with the milk using a fork. Cut the rounds into two and soak the Morning Rounds in the egg and milk mixture. Morning Rounds will not absorb the mixture soon, so help it by pressing into the mixture lightly and turn it over and press it again.
Heat the butter in medium high heat and put the soaked Morning Rounds and cook both sides until it is golden and cooked. If the Morning Rounds are getting dark fast lower the heat.
Serve warm with maple syrup.
