Cheesecake Crunch in a Jar with Seasonal Fruit using All Bran Cereal

I enjoy using cereal to make desserts. Recently, I followed the recipe for All Bran Cheesecake Crunch in a Jar with Seasonal Fruit by Calgary Chef Connie DeSousa. My family enjoyed this no bake whipped cheesecake that I made using Kellogg’s All-Bran


To make this Cheesecake Crunch in a Jar with Seasonal Fruit you will need...

3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup icing sugar
1/2 vanilla bean
1 1/4 cups light cream cheese
1/3 cup All Bran Buds
1/2 cup seasonal fruit fresh or preserve such as berries or pomergranate

Whip the heavy cream with the icing sugar and vanilla bean pulp in a small mixture until the cream is at a soft peak. Scrape the cream into a bowl and leave it in the fridge until you are ready to fold in the other ingredients.

Beat the cream cheese with a paddle attachment until there are no lumps. Scrape down the bowl frequently when you are doing this.

Fold the whipping cream into the cream cheese and mix it slowly until it is fully incorporated and smooth. Place the cheese mixture into a piping bag with a large straight tip and layer the jars with cheese filling, All Bran Buds cereal and seasonal fruit.

    The All Bran Buds would give it that special crunch and texture.I love adding them to my yogurt too.
