With this Hamilton Beach Panini Press and indoor grill, we have endless possibilities to pack our sandwiches with flavourful ingredients and make delicious meals within minutes.
The café style floating lid stays horizontally making it possible to cook the top of the food evenly according to our preference and accommodate different sandwich thicknesses.
The power and preheat lights make it easy for us to know when the machine is hot. The spatula scraper included with the panini press makes it easy to remove the food and scrape out any remains without scratching the non-stick surface. The removable drip tray is useful to catch the fat or oil from the food. We like the sleek design and the sliding lock that helps store the panini press upright.
We have been making breakfast to lunch and dinner meals, as well as snacks using this panini press and indoor grill. We made lots of sandwich combinations with bread and wraps using this Panini press.
We are impressed how easy it is to use this machine to make healthy and delicious meals we can enjoy anytime.
To make this flavourful Beef hummus wraps we used a store bought warm naan, hot sauce, and the below recipes to prepare the beef filling and homemade quick hummus.

To make this flavourful Beef hummus wraps we used a store bought warm naan, hot sauce, and the below recipes to prepare the beef filling and homemade quick hummus.
Stir fried beef slices
1 cup of sliced beef
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 tbsp tamarind diluted in 1/4 cup water to make the pulp
1 tbsp soya sauce
1/4 tsp salt
Cut beef slices into thin strips and marinate it for a minimum of half an hour with all the ingredients.
2 tbsp oil
2 onions cut into slices
Heat a pan and stir fry the beef in 2 tbsp oil until it is cooked. Add sliced onions when the meat is cooked and stir fry.
You can add smoked eggplant, mushrooms or roasted bell pepper to this sandwich.
Homemade hummus
1/2 can of chickpeas
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp chillie powder to taste
2 to 3 cloves of garlic
salt to taste
olive oil as needed
Roast the sesame seeds and cumin seeds lightly, then grind it to a fine powder using a pestle and mortar.
In a food processor blend the ground sesame and cumin mixture, drained chickpeas, garlic, chillie powder, and salt using olive oil. Grind the hummus to your preference, which can be coarse or smooth.
Lightly heat the naan and spread some hummus on it, then place the meat mixture, squirt hot sauce, and fold or roll the wrap. Place it in the panini press for the wrap to seal which would take a few seconds. Remove the wrap from the panini press and cut it diagonally and serve with salad.
This Panini Press makes it easy to make wraps and sandwiches quickly. Since it heats up quite fast, it is best to stay close and keep an eye on it so you can remove the sandwich or off the grill. It is best to wipe the grill with some vegetable oil before preheating the machine, so it is easy to clean up faster. Don't be tempted to press down on the lid, as its flexible floating design is meant to sit on top and adjust as we need. We can purchase this Panini press at a variety of home appliance stores. Having this Panini Press is helpful especially on busy days to prepare healthy and delicious meals.
