Ozery’s Pita Break Morning Rounds and Just Minis Perfect for Quick Meals

My family and I have been enjoy Ozery Pita Break products for a couple of years now, because it is free of artificial preservatives and has heart healthy ingredients. We can make hamburgers, sandwiches, and individual sized pizzas. I like this healthier alternative to the traditional buns, as it is low in fat, and is a good source of fibre, iron, and calcium. I love that Ozery’s Pita Break products are perfect for quick on-the-go meals for anytime of the day.

Rachael Ray’s Kids Cook-Off Show Starts in August

I like Food Network shows and usually enjoy watching adults compete. I haven't yet watched a show where children are competing, so I am excited to watch the upcoming Food Network’s new series Rachael Ray’s Kids Cook-Off. In this series, eight children from 11 to 13 years will be competing for a $20,000 culinary scholarship and their own Web series on FoodNetwork.com.

Crispy Baked Fish Sticks and Sustainable Seafood Choices

We enjoy our seafood, but I am always worried where the seafood comes from and if it is sustainable or if there were any negative human interventions while packaging. I am glad that the world’s largest and most respected conservation organizations like WWF-Canada, which is part of WWF (World Wildlife Fund) are actively working to improve the way seafood is captured and cultivated to ensure we have healthy oceans for generations to come.

Brownie Cookies Made with Rodelle Gourmet Dutch-Processed Baking Cocoa

I love the smell and the taste of Rodelle Gourmet Dutch-Processed Baking Cocoa. Using good quality cocoa makes a huge impact on how delicious our baked goodies turn out. I have used other types of cocoa to make one of our favourite recipes from the Smitten Kitchen cookbook, and no one in my family has raved about these cookies as much until I baked them with Rodelle Gourmet Dutch-Processed Baking Cocoa. Using this cocoa powder gave these brownie roll out cookies a delicious flavour without an overpowering cocoa taste. I am glad Rodelle Gourmet Dutch-Processed Baking Cocoa is available at Costco stores across Canada.

The Great Food Truck Race Starts in August

I enjoy watching The Great Food Truck Race because it is a fun show involving an exciting competition, road trip adventure, and food. I am excited about the upcoming six-episode sixth season that starts on Sunday, August 23rd at 9pm ET/PT. There will be a brand-new fleet of fierce competitors that will cook and travel across America’s most famous stretch of road, historic Route 66.

Win a Kellogg's Vector Prize Pack

During summer everyone in my family prefers cold breakfasts. Most of the time we try to have a quick, healthy breakfast so we can get a head start to enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed the Vector Granola Honey Almond Flavour and had it along with berries and yogurt, and in some occasions we had it with milk. This new product is designed to help meet the nutritional needs of active, health conscious people. Half a cup of Vector Granola made with oats, honey, and almonds has 5g of fibre and 10 vitamins and minerals. It comes in a resealable pouch, so storing the granola is easy and is perfect to take on camping trips.

Make Your Own Unique Cereal with Mixit #Giveaway

I can never find a cereal that has all the ingredients I want in one package that suits my preference and taste. Usually, I mix different types of cereals together and add in ingredients to make it my own, which is not ideal when mornings get busy. When I first heard of Mixit, I thought it is a fabulous idea because you get to make your cereal just the way you want it online! and not in the kitchen :)
