Cutthroat Kitchen Camp comes to Food Network

I enjoy watching Food Network shows occasionally because they are fun to watch. I have watched a few episodes of Cutthroat Kitchen, and found the episodes exciting, fun, and intense to watch. This summer to Food Network will be having a five-episode special series Camp Cutthroat starting Wednesday, August 12th at 9pm ET/PT leading up to a final showdown between the four winners on Wednesday, September 9th at 9pm.
I like how the episodes feature the chefs competing in a three-round elimination cooking competition. Each chef is given $25,000 at the start of the show and the contestants face auctions that they can purchase opportunities to sabotage each other or benefit themselves. The sabotages make it hard to create delicious dishes and make it challenging for the chefs.

Cutthroat Kitchen camp will have twelve chefs compete for victory under the watchful eye of head counselor Alton Brown. The episodes of this show will be set in a secret location deep in the wilderness, where these memorable Cutthroat alumni battle for the chance to win up to $75,000 in a tournament of great outdoors-themed culinary challenges with a diabolical twist. With extreme tug-of-war and canteen cooking to battles in the camp lake, only the contestants with the strongest culinary chops and sabotage skills make it to the end of camp.

  1. I have watched the show on Hulu and enjoyed it. This sounds more interesting than the individual shows though. I am looking forward to them.
